SBI has released the official notification for the recruitment of 8773 Junior Associates (Clerical Cadre) on its website12. The online application process has started from 17th November 2023 and will end on 7th December 2023123.
The candidates who are interested and eligible can apply online through the link given on the bank’s website34. The candidates can apply for vacancies in one state/UT only4. The application fee is Rs. 750 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and nil for SC/ST/PWD/XS/DXS candidates12.
The selection process for the SBI Clerk 2023 exam consists of two stages: Preliminary and Main examination. Both the exams will be conducted online and will have objective type questions. The prelims exam will have 100 questions for 100 marks and will be of 60 minutes duration. The main exam will have 190 questions for 200 marks and will be of 160 minutes duration125.
The prelims exam is expected to be held in January 2024 and the main exam is expected to be held in February 202412. The admit cards for both the exams will be available on the bank’s website before the exam dates12. The candidates who qualify the main exam will be provisionally selected for the post of Junior Associate12.
The salary for the SBI Clerk 2023 post is Rs. 26,000/- to Rs. 29,000/- per month. The salary includes basic pay, dearness allowance, house rent allowance, special allowance, transport allowance, and other benefits125.
